Today in my Math Class of grade 7, I had a warm up activity on enhancing communication, appreciating Mathematics, realising the importance of breakfast and eating at least one meal together with the family.
I asked my students to speak mathematically what did they eat in breakfast?
Some of them had skipped the breakfast. Wherein I got a chance to emphasise the importance of having a breakfast before coming to school.
Some students started sharing, that they had milk, bread, parantha etc.
Can we speak Mathematically?

I had 150 ml of milk in a circular tumbler.
I ate 2 squared slices of bread having each side 4 inches.
I had a glass full of milk with 2 spoons of sugar and 20 g Bournvita.
